The BTR provider has been creating single-family housing since 2014 and has worked on around 175 transactions in this time.
Looking ahead, Sigma has a pipeline of 19,000 units with a gross development cost of £5.9bn.
Of this, 3,500 units are expected to be reached for Sigma’s own balance sheet by the end of Q4 2025.
Graham Barnet, CEO and founder of Sigma Capital, highlighted there wasn’t a typical professionalised rental product in the market when the business launched.

“In the early days, the rental market was archaic, with an over-reliance on private landlords, and we had to bring together the investors, housebuilders, the land availability and local authorities to bring this product to market,” said Graham.
“Today, we have achieved significant scale across the UK as a result of our long-term relationships with partners in the public and private sector.
“Thanks to the tenacity of our team, we’re exactly where we wanted to be, with a superior product and unrivalled satisfaction scores.”
